Olivia Rawson grew up in Adelaide, suffered the usual traumas of a Catholic schooling, and completed a Bachelor of Education at Flinders University in 1992. Among her more inspiring lecturers was Mem Fox. Fifteen years, one husband, three children and perhaps a little weight gain later, Olivia finds herself the happy co-author of a picture book with Mem Fox called What Makes You Laugh? Her inspiration comes from her own children who make her laugh all day-almost always for the wrong reasons.

A Giraffe in the Bath
A giraffe in the bath - does that make you laugh? Or a frog in the flour? Or a sheep in the shower? An owl with the flu? Or a roo on the loo? A crocodile with style - does that make you smile?
What makes you laugh? This very funny picture book suggests increasingly silly and hilarious possibilities. Lots of fun for every reader, with wonderful, giggle-inducing illustrations by Kerry Argent.
